Work History

Canadian Sustainability Contractors

Lead, Climate Programs and Innovation | 1 Yr

CSCs leads national programs focused on sustainable energy, clean infrastructure, and conservation. They co-develop initiatives with Indigenous governments and community partners—advancing hydrokinetic systems, coastal solar, and nature-based solutions aligned with GHG and CSRD frameworks. We speak regularly at Indigenous-led forums on partnership-driven environmental impact, like the Beyond the Blue: Conservation Conference.

United Nations Foundation

The United Nations Foundation (UNF) Clean Cooking Alliance (CCA) is a non-profit working to promote clean cooking technologies in lower and middle-income countries to reduce emissions and improve health. As Manager of Monitoring Evaluation and Learning (MEL), I reported to the Director of Impact by co-developing annual sustainability reports. I designed monitoring frameworks to track technology uptake and improved livelihoods for women and children in program areas of Ghana, Kenya, Uganda and Nepal.

Government of Canada, Environment

Senior Programme Officer | 4 Yrs 4 mos

Environment and Climate Change Canada (ECCC) is the federal department responsible for coordinating Canada's environmental policies and programs. As Policy Analyst I co-designed the Low Carbon Economy Fund (LCEF), a $2 billion-dollar program to support projects aimed at reducing greenhouse gas emissions, improving energy efficiency, and promoting clean energy technologies. My recommendations were received directly from the Prime Ministers Office. In this work I provided funding and support to provinces and territories, businesses, Indigenous governments, municipalities, and non-profits.

The Liu Institute for Global Issues is a research organization at the University of British Columbia focused on the dissemination of scholarly research on international policy affairs. My co-authored publications have been featured in the Toronto Star, Beyond Nuclear International, Republic of Mining, Studocu, and others.
