Canadian International Council | Youth Mentor | 2024-Present

The Canadian International Council (CIC) Mentorship Program is a volunteer initiative focused on teaching and producing career development in Public Relations. The program offers youth the opportunity to receive career and personal mentorship placements with Senior Policy Analysts and Public Relations figures.

 

Government of Canada | Mental Health Committee Member 2021-2023

Environment and Climate Change Canada (ECCC) Mental Health Committee is a volunteer initiative focused on promoting mental well-being within the organization. Committee Members contribute to shaping policies and initiatives aimed at fostering a supportive and healthy workplace, raising awareness of mental health issues, organizing events, and ensuring access to mental health support for employees.

 

Elected Canadian Youth Leader | Baku Azerbaijan Global Forum | 2020

The Young Leaders Forum with the United Nations Sustainable Development program seeks to develop a positive vision of the future of humanity, assess critical leadership qualities, identify untapped resources, and develop strategies to generate widespread public awareness and a global social movement in support for implementation of the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). “How Young Leaders Can Shape A Better World,” was a panel comprised of ten young professionals selected to share our perspectives and insights into ‘Global Gaps’ and what needs to be done to close them.

 

School of Public Policy and Global Affairs | Senior Vice President | 2018-2020

The UBC School of Public Policy and Global Affairs (SPGGA) serves as a hub for interdisciplinary studies, with a focus on global policy challenges such as sustainability, geopolitics, and human rights. As elected student vice president representative, I led initiatives aimed at improving student services, increasing networking opportunities with global policy experts, and ensuring that student voices were integral to decision-making processes.

UNICEF Donation Organizer  | 2008-2010, 2013, 2017, 2022

The UNICEF Donation Organizer role is a volunteer-driven initiative focused on supporting children worldwide by facilitating donation campaigns. Responsibilities included coordinating fundraising efforts, engaging community members in donation drives, and advocating for UNICEF’s mission to provide essential resources to vulnerable children in need.

Scholarship | Women in Business | 2010

Recipient of the Laidlaw Women in Business Scholarship, which supports aspiring women leaders. This program addresses the persistent underrepresentation of women in senior leadership roles, providing financial and mentorship resources to foster career development and professional success.

Advanced Placement Program | Yale Secondary School | 2006-2010

Completed the Advanced Placement (AP) Program with distinction at Yale Secondary School. The rigorous curriculum offered early college-level coursework, fostering academic excellence and critical thinking skills. This foundation shaped future pursuits in higher education and leadership.​

Downtown Eastside Women Shelter Donation Organizer  | 2007-Present

The Downtown Eastside Women Shelter Donation Organizer is a volunteer initiative committed to supporting women in vulnerable situations. This role involves organizing donation drives, coordinating with local communities to provide essential items, and advocating for awareness around homelessness and gender-based inequality, ensuring resources reach those in need.
